Robert James Citelli passed away on June 13, 2023, in Reno, Nevada. He was 81 years old.
Robert, fondly known as Capt. Bob, was born in New York City to Ludwig and Josephine Citelli on May 22, 1942. He grew up in Warwick where he family lived for many decades.
He served as a corpsman in the Navy at Quantico, Virginia.
Capt. Bob later ventured to California and settled in Hermosa Beach.
He was a photography hobbyist, an audiophile and an automobile enthusiast.
He enjoyed science fiction films and was fortunate to be a background actor on the TV series, “Star Trek - The Next Generation.”
Later in his career, he captained luxury vessels.
Capt. Bob was a vibrant personality and will be missed by many.
