Ramona M. Schultz Sedelmeyer
Ramona M. Schultz Sedelmeyer of Warwick passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2019, at Valley View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Goshen. She was 88 years old.
Ramona was born in Libertyville, Illinois, on July 15, 1930, the daughter of Howard and Faith (Martin) Rutt.
She attended the University of Illinois where she met C.W. Schultz Jr., to whom she was married for 28 years.
After moving to New Jersey, she later met and married A.J. Sedelmeyer. They relocated to Kilmarnock, Va., until his death in 2010, after which she moved to Warwick to be near her son.
Ramona held positions in various industries, but the one she took the most pride in was her position as a bond broker on Wall Street.
She was an active member of the Grace Episcopal Church in Kilmarnock and Christ Church in Warwick.
She was an avid reader, gardener, quilter, as well as a volunteer with the Meals on Wheels program in Kilmarnock.
Ramona is survived by her four children: Paula (Hal) Carius, Terri Schultz, Bill (Louise) Schultz and Melanie (Mark) Glatt, as well as two stepsons, Jerome (Joanne) Sedelmeyer and John (Sharon) Se’love; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The family would like to thank Valley View Nursing Center for the excellent and compassionate care they provided for Ramona.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 6 at 1 p.m. at Christ Church in Warwick.
