Olga Maruszczak Tuttle of Warwick, a beloved mother, grandmother, wife, daughter and sister, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013, at St. Anthony Community Hospital in Warwick.

She was surrounded by her loving family and friends at the time of her passing. She was 65 years old and had resided in the area for 20 years.

The daughter of Wasyl and Anastasia Maruszczak, she was born in Aschafenburg, Germany, on May 14, 1948.

As a devoted educator, Olga touched many lives. She continuously sought out new experiences and opportunities for learning. She was truly a student of life. She was an avid traveler and found great joy in wandering adventures. She loved her family, students, friends and co-workers and was deeply loved by them.

Olga lived much of her life according to the following verse:

“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for Me’.” (Matthew 25:40 – NIV.)

She is survived by her husband, George L. Tuttle Jr. of Warwick; her mother Anastasia and siblings Irena and William. She is also survived by her three daughters: Abigail, Emily and Katherine; five grandchildren; five nieces and nephews; and sons-in-law Kevin O’Keeffe, Walter Dearing and Jim Harper.

Olga was pre-deceased by her father, Wasyl.

All are welcome to celebrate her life with a Memorial Mass to be held Sunday, Dec. 8, at 3 p.m. at Christ Church, 50 South St., Warwick, with a reception to follow in the Parish Hall.

Olga touched many lives and hers was a life well lived. She was taken from us far too soon. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christ Church’s Saturday Morning Breakfast Ministry.

Olga’s family has taken great comfort in the unique and supportive congregation of Christ Church and their friends in the community.

Arrangements were under the direction of Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home. For further information or to send an online condolence, see www.lsvpmemorialhome.com.
