Norman Slonim

    Norman Slonim of Warwick, a retired school bus driver and longtime resident of the area, died on Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2017, in Middletown. He was 85.
    The son of Joseph and Anna Hochman Slonim, he was born on July 20, 1932, in the Bronx.
    Norman was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean Conflict.
    He was the widower of Rhoda Slonim.
    Survivors include his daughter Patricia Weisslander and her husband Marc of Warwick; his grandchildren Stacey, Jason and Todd; and his great-granddaughter Rebecca.
    Graveside services were held Dec. 1 in the Orange County Veterans Cemetery in Goshen.
