Myron C. Urbanski
Myron C. Urbanski of Goshen, former owner of Carol Ann Produce as well as a former supervisor of the Town of Goshen, entered into rest on Monday, May 28, 2012. He was 86.
The son of the Stanley and Mary Bozek Urbanski, he was born April 30, 1926, in Goshen.
In addition to his post as Goshen Town supervisor, Myron also was a past chairman of the Town of Goshen Planning Board.
He also was a member of St. Josephs Church in the Village of Florida.
He is survived by his daughter Carol Torrisi and her husband Joseph of Middletown; his son Andrew and his wife Basha of Goshen; grandchildren: Ashley Torrisi and her fiancé Jim Bodisch; Deanna Torrisi Petruska and her husband Eric; Diana Deblasio and her husband Matt; and Andrew Urbanski Jr. and Janina Babci Kusznier; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Myron was predeceased by his wife Gertrude Pawliczek Urbanski and three brothers: Lou, Stanley and Steve Urbanski.
Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, May 31, from 5:30-9:00 p.m. at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Ave., Florida.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 1, at St. Josephs Church, 20 Glenmere Ave. in Florida. The Rev. Joseph Tokarczyk will officiate.
Burial will be in St. Josephs Cemetery Florida.
