Miriam A. Donovan

Miriam A. Donovan (nee Cunningham) of Greenwood Lake, formerly of The Bronx, entered into eternal rest on Friday, Jan. 4, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. She was 83 years old.
Miriam was predeceased by her loving husband of 62 years John Donovan, her parents John and Marion Cunningham and brother John.
She is survived by her son Michael (Annmari), daughters Mariann Walsh (Robert), Kathleen and Sue; as well as six grandchildren, three great grandsons, many nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins and friends who will all miss her forever.
Miriam loved and took great pride in her family most of all. She lived her life with grace, compassion, dignity, faith and a positive outlook.
Miriam was also admired for her strong work ethic and dedication, working full-time at Morgan Stanley in New York City until she was 80 years old.
Miriam and her husband John were the quintessential hosts, and all were always welcome in their home.
Funeral services were held at Sisto Funeral Home and St. Benedict’s Church in The Bronx.
