‘Mickey’ Zuchnik

Mabel C. “Mickey” Zuchnik of Goshen, and formerly of Wurtsboro, entered into rest on Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, in Orange Regional Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill. She was 80.

The daughter of Ezra Irwin and Harriet Tucker Irwin, she was born March 4, 1932, in Spring Glen.

She is survived by her sister Ella Morse; niece Cindy Romer and Ben; Godchildren Erik and Kimberly Romer and April Romer-Smith; as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husbands Donald Gibbs and Chester Zuchnik; sisters Mary Winner and Frances Irwin; and brother Burton Irwin.

Funeral services were held Jan. 15 at the T.S. Purta Funeral Home in Pine Island. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, also in Pine Island.
