Michael J. Ragone Sr. of Warwick passed away on Sunday, Nov. 28, 2021, at St. Anthony Community Hospital after a brief illness. He was 92 years old.
Born in Brooklyn on Sept. 15, 1929, he was the son of Andrew and Antoinette Spero Ragone.
Michael was an art restorer with Hiram H. Hoelzer, Inc. in Manhattan, preserving many notable pieces, some as old as the 16th century. He found the work fascinating since each piece was different and required exquisite care.
Michael is survived by his beloved wife, Theresa; sons Wayne, and Michael Jr. and his wife Sarah and grandson, Samuel. He was predeceased by daughter, MaryBeth Ragone.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated Dec. 2 at St. Stephen RC Church, 75 Sanfordville Road, Warwick.
Burial followed the Mass in St. Stephen’s Cemetery.
