Maxine (Tressa) Linton

    Maxine (Tressa) Linton of Wurtsboro, (formerly of Warwick) passed away on Thursday, Jan. 24, 2019, at Park Manor Rehabilitation Center in Middletown. She was 86 years old.
    Born to Marcus and Mildred (Eddington) Lux on Sept. 13, 1932, in Buffalo, she was one of 18 children and outlived all of her siblings.
    Maxine was married to Donald Linton, who predeceased her in 2012.
    She worked in ShopRite of Warwick as a meat wrapper for many years before retirement.
    Maxine is survived by her loving family: her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
    Funeral services were held Jan. 29 at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home in Warwick. Interment followed in Warwick Cemetery.
