Maureen T. Worhach of Warwick passed away Friday, Oct. 18, 2013. She was 67 years old.

Born Sept. 22, 1946, in Brooklyn, she was the daughter of Kenneth and Edna (Buchan) Cowan.

She was married to Paul Worhach.

Maureen was a nurse at Westchester Medical Center and was a member of St. Joseph Novitiate in Round Top.

She is survived by her husband Paul Worhach of Warwick; her children Edward Whelan of Fishkill, Diane Smith and her husband Scott of Phoenix, Arizona, Kenneth Whelan and his wife June of Westtown, Mary Regina Costanzo and her husband Ralph of Phoenix, Arizona, and Matthew Whelan and his wife Evanne of Monroe. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, Oct. 25, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick.

A funeral Mass will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. on Saturday at St. Stephen's R.C. Church, 75 Sanfordville Road, Warwick, followed by interment in Warwick Cemetery.
