Maryann Mondello of Warwick passed away on Sunday, Aug. 4, 2019, at home surrounded by her sister Jaye, nephew William Holzel and her caretakers.
Born on Nov. 22, 1933, in Warwick, she was the daughter of Serafina and Nunzio Mondello.
Maryann was co owner of the former Garden and Gifts jewelry store in the Village of Warwick. She enjoyed meeting and assisting customers in selecting that special gift.
She also enjoyed traveling to Florida with her sisters and sharing family memories.
Maryann is survived by her loving sister Jaye Mondello of Warwick. Maryann was predeceased by her sisters Antoinette Mondello and Rose Holzel and brothers George, Anthony and Charles.
She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family wishes to thank the caretakers for their loving care and needs for Maryann. The family also wishes to thank Dr. Mayank Shah for all his professional care.
Private services were held at St. Mary’s cemetery in Port Chester.
