    Mary Lee Goodman of Warwick passed away on Friday, Sept. 27, 2013, at St. Anthony Community Hospital in Warwick. She was 93 years old.

    Born Oct. 24, 1919, in Bridgeport, Conn., she was the daughter of William and Hazel (Dunn) Lee.

    She was the widow of George Goodman.

    Mary led an extraordinary life. Devotion to her family and extended family, friends and her students guided her. A resident of Warwick and a parishioner of St. Stephen R.C. Church for 67 years, she was committed to community service and spent countless hours serving on boards and committees and volunteering.

    She will be missed by generations of family and friends.

    She is survived by her daughter Anne Rash and her husband Tony of Mansfield, Conn.; her son John Goodman and his wife Patt Duffy of North Salem; her son George Thomas Goodman and his wife Vicki of Baltimore, Md.; her daughter Elizabeth Goodman and her husband Bill Gannon of Cambridge, Vt.; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.

    A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, Oct. 5, at St. Stephen R.C. Church at 10 a.m.

    Burial will take place at a later date.

    Funeral arrangements were handled by Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home in Warwick.
