Mary Armao
It is with great sadness that the family of Mary Armao announces her unexpected passing on Wednesday. July 4, 2018, at the age of 73.
Mary was born in Brooklyn on June 1, 1945. She was the youngest of six children of Vincent and Rafaella Ascione.
She was predeceased by brothers Vincent Ascione of Hasbrouck Heights, N.J., and Frank Ascione of Greenwood Lake.
Mary is survived by her husband Thomas Armao of Monroe; her son Michael Vincent Armao and his fiancé Alicia Hogan; her grandchildren: Juliana Lynn and Luna Rae Armao of Greenwood Lake; her brother Ralph Ascione and his wife Marianne; her sister Louise Cresci of Long Island, brother Eugene Ascione of Little River, S.C., and she was loved by many nieces and nephews.
Mary was an incredibly strong woman who touched the lives of many and held unconditional friendships. She opened her heart and home to many friends over the years and will be sorely missed in our hearts.

Visitation was held July 10 at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home in Warwick.
A Funeral Mass was held July 11 at St. Stephen R.C. Church in Warwick.
Interment followed in Warwick Cemetery.
