Martha N. Marciano

Martha N. Marciano of Middletown passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2017 at her home. She was 82 years old.
Born on Nov. 17, 1934, in the Bronx, she was the daughter of John and Antoinette (DeCesare) Pilgrene.
She was the widow of Francis P. Marciano Sr.
She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother and she will forever be loved and cherished. She was one of a kind and we will truly miss her vivacious spirit.
She is survived by her children: son John Marciano Sr. and his wife Paulette of Yulan; daughter Marcia Horton of Middletown and daughter Valarie Pinelli and her husband Scott of Greenville. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Brandon Horton, Alex Horton, Lorenzo Hernandez, Francis Hernandez, Angela Hernandez, John Marciano Jr., Jeanine Conklin and Wayne Curtis and his wife Modesta; and great-grandchildren: McKinnley Conklin, Nathaniel Conklin and John Marciano III; and brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held Aug. 25 at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home in Warwick.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated Aug. 26 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Middletown,
Interment followed in Warwick Cemetery.
