Martha Jarocki of Loundonville, formerly of Warwick and Goshen, died on Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2017. She was 91.
Daughter of Frank Shuback and Rose Mydosh Shuback, she was born on June 8, 1926, in Pine Island.
She was a longtime member of St. Stephen’s Church in Warwick as well as St. John’s Church in Goshen.
Martha was a loving mother and grandmother who most enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a retired recreation therapy aide for Orange Farms in Goshen, where she enjoyed caring for the residents.
She also enjoyed listening to polka music and attended many various Polish events.
She is survived by her son Mark Jarocki, and wife, Lisette, of Loudonville; daughter Kathleen Jarocki of Nashville, Tenn.; daughter Janice D’Antoni, and husband, Peter, of Hopewell Junction; six grandchildren; brother Frank Shuback and sister Josephine Giza; along with several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her daughter Susan and two sisters, Clara Nowicki and Theresa Pawliczak.
Visitation was held Dec. 22 at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, Pine Island. A Funeral Mass was held Dec. 23 at St. Stanislaus Church, Pine Island. Burial was in St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Pine Island.
