Mark L. Donner of Warwick passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Wednesday, March 25, 2015.

He was a loving husband, father and friend to many. He fought a short, courageous battle with cancer while maintaining his grace, dignity and sense of humor.

Born June 20, 1948 in Midland, Michigan, he was the son of Ruth O’Hara Donner and John Bernard Donner.

He is survived by his adoring wife, Joan deLisser of Warwick; his children and step-children: Brett Donner of West Chester, Pa., Drew Donner and his wife Jennifer of Riverside, California, Emily deLisser and Jessica deLisser of Manhattan, and Sarah Grosso and her husband John of Nyack; his granddaughter Mia Grosso of Nyack; his sisters Margaret Robinson and her partner, Margaret Mulvey, of Midland, Michigan, and Jean Marie Paquet and her husband Terry of Traverse City, Michigan; brothers Michael Donner and his wife Marsha of Nelson, British Columbia, and Patrick Donner and his wife Lynn of Midland, Michigan. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews Claire, Sarah, Brian, Jason, John Marshall and Sean.

He was pre-deceased by his brother, Father Jeffery Donner.

Visitation will be Friday, March 27, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick.

A funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday at St. Stephen's Church, followed by private cremation.
