Marion Elston Stage of Warwick passed away on Thursday, Nov. 9, 2017, at home. She was 94 years old.
Born on March 9, 1923, in Unionville, she was the daughter of Roy T. Elston and Ruth Wallace Elston.
She was the widow of Douglas Stage (1985).
Marion received her business degree from Rider College. She was a member of the Warwick Reformed Church, a charter member of the Warwick Country Club, an avid golfer who was very proud of her four holes in one, a bridge player and one of the founding members of the Warwick Library Ladies Bridge Marathon.
She also volunteered at St. Anthony Community Hospital.
She is survived by her daughters: Rebecca Stage and her husband Stephen Craver of Warwick and Suzanne De Rungs of Colorado Springs; her son Douglas R. Stage and his wife Christine of Warwick; her seven grandchildren: Graig Craver, Elston Craver, Jill Craver, Zachariah De Rungs, Jeremiah De Rungs, James Stage and Catherine Stage; and her three great-grandchildren: Timothy Stage, Mason Stage and Hunter Stage.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Ruth Anne Stage, a sister, Margaret Smith, and her longtime friend, John Baird.
Memorial visitation was held Nov. 13 at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home in Warwick. A memorial service followed,
