Marilyn Williamsen
Marilyn Williamsen of Warwick passed away at home on Saturday, July 22, 2017. She was 85 years old.
Born on Nov. 20, 1931, in Jamaica, Queens, she was the daughter of John and Emma (Lantfhier) Heil.
She was the widow of Donald R. Williamsen (1997).
A homemaker, Marilyn was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved vacationing with her family in Cape Cod, traveling to places like Lancaster, Pa., and beautiful Vermont. She enjoyed antiquing, scenic road trips and feeding the wild birds at her home.
She is survived by her children: Wayne Williamsen and his wife Janet of Sarasota, Fla., Mark Williamsen and his wife Gail of Warwick, Donna Cassanite and her husband Frank of Warwick and Scott Williamsen and his wife Debra of Warwick; her grandchildren: Erica, Stacy, Adam, Jason, Lindsay, Simon and Holly; and great-grandchildren: Tucker, Jacob, Brody and Grace. She also is survived by a brother, Barry Heil and his wife Cathie of Bloomingburg, and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Danielle.
Private funeral arrangements are under the direction of Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick.
