    Marie P. Borrillo of Warwick passed away on Monday, April 2, 2012, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern. She was 61 years old.

    Born April 14, 1950, is New York City, she was the daughter of Europa and Mary (Alliprantis) Borrillo.

    Marie was a deli clerk in Sloatsburg and worked in the cafeteria at St. Anthony Community Hospital in Warwick. She was president of the Women’s Auxiliary of the American Legion in Warwick, was a judge for the Drug Free Powerlifting Federation, and she volunteered with Special Olympics in New York State.

    Her family’s statement reads: “Marie was known for her generosity and her loving care for others.”

    She is survived by her fiancé, Charles Schroeder, of Warwick; her sister Mary Ann Owens of Middletown; her brother Patrick Borrillo of Montgomery; her sister Donna Parks of Florida, N.Y.; and her brother, Robbie Borrillo of Sussex, N.J., and their families; also many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and one great-great niece and nephew.

    Visitation will be Friday, April 6, from 2-4 and 7-8:30 p.m. at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick, followed by a funeral service at 8:30 p.m. Private cremation.
