Maria “Oma” Schilling of Warwick, passed away on Thursday, April 26, 2018, at Orange Regional Medical Center. She was 98 years old.
She was born in Silesia, Germany, on April 3, 1920.
Maria was a homemaker.
She is survived by her four daughters: Gerda Weed at home, Ingeborg Dagele and her husband John of Florida, N.Y., Brigitte Schilling of the Villages, Fla., and Betty Weber and her husband Michael of Kennett Square, Pa.; grandchildren: Karl Weed and his wife Donna, Sandra Tomczak, Deborah Fischang and her husband Ronald, Brenda Downs and her husband Brad, Alexandra Weber, Michael Weber and Julia Weber; and five great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Karl A. Schilling in 1971.
Visitation was held April 29 at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home in Warwick.
A funeral service will be held April 30, at the funeral home with interment following at Warwick Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contribution may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 5 Wisner Road, Warwick, NY 10990 or Warwick Community Ambulance, 146 S. Street Extension, Warwick, NY 10990.
