Margaret Louise Roulston Burrill
Margaret Louise Roulston Burrill of Warwick passed away on Thursday, Feb. 11, 2016. She was 88.
Margaret was born on June 16, 1927, in Jamaica, Queens, to Anna and Walter Roulston.
She was the widow of Robert D. Burrill, who predeceased her in 2005.
During her long life, Margaret lived on Long Island, in Elizabeth, N.J., Virginia Beach, Va., and Milford, Pa., but she felt Warwick was her real home.
Margo had lived in Warwick for many years and spent the last five years in the Mt. Alverno Center.
She was active in the VFW Post 4662 Ladies Auxiliary in Warwick.
She was a member of the Warwick Reformed Church.
Her hobbies were bowling, sewing and she loved to sing. She sang in the Warwick Valley Chorale for many years.
She is survived by her sister Marion Roulston Hayden; her son John and daughter-in-law Jane Burrill of Chapel Hill, NC.; her daughter Louise and son-in-law Matthew Macherone of Wantage, N.J.; daughter Mary and son-in-law Jim Feldner of Warwick; and daughter Deborah Morasch of Virginia Beach, Va.
She is also survived by her grandchildren: Amanda, Andrew, Lizzie, Lauren, Allyson and Tyler, and two great-grandchildren, Scarlette and Riley; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Feb. 15 at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home in Warwick.
Interment will be at the family’s convenience.
