Louis Romano

Louis Romano of the Village of Florida, a retired childcare professional for Children’s Village in Dobbs Ferry, entered into rest on Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, at home with his family by his side. He was 77.

The son of Joseph and Filomina Romano, he was born May 24, 1935, in Foggia, Italy .

Louis was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who will be greatly missed by all who loved him.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Barbara Romano; sons Roberto Romano and Edward Gorton; daughters Gina Romano, Barbara Ferebee and her husband Richard and Marianna Meyer and her husband John; 14 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and his sister Filomina Tisi.

Funeral services were held privately by his family.
