Lorraine F. Hintze of Washingtonville passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2021, at Garnet Health Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill. She was 81 years old.
Born on April 18, 1940, in London, England, Lorraine was the daughter of Grace (Lawley) and Leonard Kent.
Lorraine was an assistant manager for Flemington Furs in Central Valley.
Survivors include her children: James L. Hintze and his wife Stacy of Warwick; Michael A. Hintze and his wife Julie of Monroe; Kevin L. Hintze of New Braunfels, Texas; and Christine O’Brien and her husband Keith of Suffern. She was the proud grandmother of eleven grandchildren: Shayna, Mackenzie, Dylan, Victoria, Scott, Amanda, Megan, Courtney, Madison, Ava and Kenny; and great-grandmother to Olivia. She is additionally survived by her sister Marilyn Maharg of Highland Mills; and by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband James F. Hintze.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 28, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Smith, Seaman, and Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 515 Route 32, Highland Mills.
A Funeral Service will begin at the funeral home at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 29, followed by interment at Cemetery of the Highlands in Highland Mills.
