Julie Anders Haupt
Julie Anders Haupt passed away peacefully on Tuesday. March 5, 2019, two and a half years after suffering a severe stroke.
She was born on a United States Air Force Base in South Ruislip, Middlesex, England, to Julia D. Carradine and William J. Anders on June 30, 1957.
Julie came to live in America at age 16 after attending grammar school, high school and Cordon Bleu Cookery School in England.
She earned a degree from The Christine Valmy International School of Esthetics in New York City and went into business with her mother, who preceded her in death.
They opened Julia Jones of London Salon in Warwick and later Sugar Loaf.
Julie and her mother Julia were best friends, business partners and more like sisters than mother and daughter.
Julie was a gifted stylist, colorist, esthetician and make-up artist. Her make up artistry took her around the country doing commercial shoots. Her most famous celebrity client was Julian Lennon, a fellow Brit.
Julie was a creative cook, baker, avid gardener, floral arranger and artist.
She preferred sports cars with a manual transmission for transportation.
She had a keen interest in astrology and a passion for animals.
Julie is survived by her husband of 34 years, William Haupt of Monroe.
Julie requested cremation and a memorial service to follow.
