‘Josie’ Wesolowski
Josephine “Josie” Wesolowski of Pine Island entered into rest on Monday, April 1, 2013, at Orange Regional Medical Center in the Town of Wall kill. She was 73.

The daughter of Bronislaus and Regina Sedlak Gayewski, she was born Aug. 30, 1939, in Pine Island.

She is survived by her son Raymond Wesolowski and his wife Darlene of Westtown; daughter Laurie Ann Olejniczak and her husband David of Westtown; daughter Jennifer Palumbo and her husband Chris of Pine Island; daughter Linda Della Vecchia and her husband Greg of Pine Island; eight grandchildren: Christina and Raymond Wesolowski; Jacquelyn and David Jr. Olejniczak; Emily Rose and Madeline Jean Palumbo; and Michael John and Matthew James Della Vecchia; sisters Viola Hojnacki of Warwick and Virginia Bastek of Westtown; brother John Gayewski of Burlington, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband Edward “Shorty” Wesolowski, sisters Frances Shaw, Charlotte Tomaszewski, Stella Weslowski, Mary Schreibeis, Jean Lupinski and Genevieve Tomaszewski and brother Barney Gayewski.

A funeral Mass was scheduled to be celebrated on Thursday, April 4, at Stanislaus Church in Pine Island. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
