Joseph P. Mandracchia

Joseph P. Mandracchia of Warwick passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at St. Anthony Community Hospital in Warwick. He was 82 years old.

Joseph was the son of Michael and Frances (Marinello) Mandracchia. He was born March 6, 1931, in Pelham and lived there for more than 75 years. He was a parishioner of St. Catherine’s Church.

He moved to Warwick in 2007 and became a parishioner of St. Stephen’s R.C. Church.

He was married in 1954 to Ann Marie (Caron) Mandracchia.

Joseph served with the U.S. Army from 1953-55. He worked in New York City in the advertising field for more than 42 years and retired in 1966 as vice president of True North Advertising (formerly Kenyon & Eckhardt) in New York City.

Joseph was a loving husband and a proud father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife Ann Marie of Warwick; and by his five children: Michael Mandracchia and his wife Christine, of Jackson, N.J., Teresa Mandracchia, DVM, of South New Berlin, Phyllis Le Frois and her husband Richard, of Webster, Stephen Mandracchia and his wife Theresa of Warwick, and Joseph Mandracchia Jr. of South New Berlin.

Joseph was also the proud grandfather to Matthew Mandracchia and his wife Courtney of Jackson, N.J., and Kateri and Therese Mandracchia, both of Warwick. He is also survived by a sister, Phyllis Bister of Warwick.

He was predeceased by a sister, Accusia Mandracchia.

A funeral Mass was celebrated July 15 at St. Stephen’s R.C. Church. Interment followed in Orange County Veterans Cemetery with military honors.
