Joseph G. Torrisi

Joseph G. Torrisi of Middletown, the owner of Torrisi’s Agway, entered into rest on Monday, July 17, 2017. He was 69.
The son of Joseph and Carmela Murabito Torrisi, he was born Feb. 29, 1948, in Goshen.
Joe was a self-made businessman who built his business from the ground up. Joe’s greatest accomplishment was his family.
He was a member of the NRA.
Survivors include his wife Carol Urbanski Torrisi; his daughters Ashley Bodisch and her husband Jim and Deanna Torrisi; his faithful companion Buddy; grand dogs Charlie, Jax and Louie; brother-in-law Andrew Urbanski and his wife Basha; niece Diana and her husband Matt; nephew Andrew; many cousins and loyal friends.
Visitation was held Thursday, July 20, at T.S. Purta Funeral Home in Florida.
A Funeral Mass was held Friday, July 21, at St. Joseph’s Church in Florida.
Cremation will be held privately.
Joe was always passionate about animals; he always said he liked animals better than people.
