John E. Connelly Sr.

John E. Connelly Sr. of Warwick passed away Monday, Dec. 16, 2013, at Schervier Pavilion. He was 85 years old.

Born Aug. 27, 1928 in Bayonne, N.J., he was the son of Thomas and Ann (Wengel) Connelly.

He was married to Ethel (Morel) Connelly.

He served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was retired as an electrician with Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.

He is survived by his wife Ethel of Warwick; his children: John E. Connelly Jr. of Warwick, Cathy Boyce and her husband Jim of Warwick and Eileen Fraser and her husband Brett of Canton, Ga.

He is also survived by six grandchildren.

Private funeral services were under the direction of Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home in Warwick.
