Joan E. De Vries

Joan E. De Vries of Warwick passed away at home on Sunday, April 9, 2017. She was 88 years old.
Born on Feb. 21, 1929, in Paterson, N.J., she was the daughter of William and Isabel (Herman) Hoffman.
Her family's statement reads: “Joan’s family came first in her life and she spread a lot of love to all.”
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Bertollo, and her husband Michael of Warwick; her son, David De Vries, and his wife, Linda, of Warwick; her four grandchildren: Nicholas Bertollo, Casey Bertollo, Jessica Bertollo and Katja Andreo; and three great-grandchildren: Ryan, Eric and Jane.
Donations in her memory may be sent to Hospice of Orange & Sullivan Counties, 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh, NY 12550.
Private funeral services were under the direction of Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick.
