Joan C. Durnin-Anderson

Joan C. Durnin-Anderson of Middletown, and formerly of Highland Falls, passed away on Friday, Jan. 27, 2017, at Orange Regional Medical Center. She was 79 years old.
She was born on July 6, 1937, in Brooklyn.
A homemaker, she was a loving Mom and beloved by all who knew her. She enjoyed painting, arts and crafts and decorating. She was an avid reader and loved going to lunch with her girls.
She is survived by her three daughters: Janice Pepe and her husband Tom of Warwick, Kelly Chaffee and her husband Charlie of Goshen and Mariann Bott and her husband Jim of Pine Bush; her loving grandchildren: Tanya Rodriguez, Jonathan Cames, Candice Durnin, Erin Chaffee and Noah Bott; and a sister, Patricia Morgan of Fort Montgomery.
Funeral services took place Jan. 31 at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home in Warwick.
Private cremation.
