Jennie A. Mondello of Warwick passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2020, at home surrounded by her nephew William Holzel and her caretakers.
Born on Sept. 13, 1931 in Warwick, she was the daughter of Serafina and Nunzio Mondello.
Jennie was co owner of the former Garden and Gifts jewelry store in the Village of Warwick. She enjoyed meeting and assisting customers in selecting that special gift.
She also enjoyed traveling to Florida with her sisters and sharing family memories.
Jennie was predeceased by her sisters Maryann Mondello, Antoinette Mondello, Rose Holzel and brothers George, Anthony and Charles.
She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family wishes to thank Hospice of Orange and Sullivan County, and the amazing team of caregivers for their loving care and needs for Jennie.
Private services were held at St. Mary’s cemetery in Port Chester.
