James was owner operator of Daly’s Service Center and Minisink Auto Electric in Westtown for more than 40 years. He was also a past member of the Rutgers Engine Company in Johnson.
His family’s statement reads: “James was a wonderful loving husband, loving father and grandfather and always a best friend. James will always be remembered for his Harley and his love of fishing and traveling around the U.S. to see all the wonders our country has to offer. While traveling he enjoyed not only seeing parts of this country, but talking to many people along the way. He was also an avid rock hound and enjoyed so much, his time hunting for rough gem stones and spending time turning them from rough stones into beautiful gems. Jim will be deeply missed his family and his many, many friends from all across the country.”
The family would also like to thank all the nurses, doctors and health care family at St. Anthony Community Hospital for all the wonderful care and kindness during his stays and frequent visits and treatments there.
