Jacqueline Hendrickson

Jacqueline Hendrickson of Middletown (and formerly of Bellvale) passed away Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014, at Newton Memorial Hospital. She was 82 years old.
Born April 4, 1931, in Brooklyn, she was the daughter of Joseph and Jessie (Lavalle) Amadeo.
She was married for 35 years to William H. Hendrickson (1981). They were wed on June 18, 1949, in St. Paul’s Church in Brooklyn.
She was a waitress in Sterling Forest and was an artist and a painter.
She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Hendrickson of Middletown; her son, Michael Hendrickson of Palmyra, Va.; six grandchildren: Cheyenne M. Simpson, Eric Hendrickson, Scott Hendrickson, Lee Hendrickson,Jessie Hendrickson, and Holly Hendrickson, all of Palmyra, Va.; two great-grandchildren: Cheyanne Simpson and Dakota Simpson; and a brother, Ronald Amadeo in the state of Florida.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, Jan. 29, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home, followed by interment in Warwick Cemetery.
