Irma Clara LaFalce

Irma Clara LaFalce, formally of Warwick, N.Y., died Monday, Dec. 21, 2020. At the time of her death she was living in Cranford, New Jersey.

She was a loving, kind and a gentle soul, loved by all who knew her.

The daughter of Emil and Clara Leibfarth of Ringwood, N.J. Irma was born April 27, 1936, in the Bronx.

She retired from the Department of Social Services in Goshen after 20 years of employment.

She was a founding member of Good Shephard Lutheran Church in Warwick and maintained a membership for more than 50 years.

Irma loved to volunteer and was awarded 5,000 hours of volunteer service from Orange Regional Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill.

She continued to volunteer after she moved to New Jersey at JFK Medical Center in Edison, N.J.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Clark, N.J., where she participated in various church groups and played in the Hallelujah Bell Choir.

Irma was preceded by her husband Louis J. LaFalce who she was married to for 55 years.

Survivors include her three children: Thomas LaFalce and wife Nancy of Herndon, Va., Rose Ann McKenney and husband Rich of Martinsville, N.J., and Mark LaFalce and wife Mary of Fairfax, Va.; seven grandchildren: Jennifer, Michelle, Laura, Kevin, Joseph, Daniel and Zachary; and eight great grandchildren.
