Irene Dorothea Voorhis

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 14, beginning at 11 a.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 95 Kings Highway, Warwick, for Irene Dorothea Voorhis, of Warwick, who passed away on Nov. 9, 2013.

Irene was retired as a driver for Operation Wheels Ecumenical Council in Warwick and formerly a bus driver with the Warwick Valley school system.

An active member of the Democratic Party, she was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Bonnie Orr, and her husband James; a son, Eric Voorhis, and his wife Mia; and six grandchildren.

Arrangement are under the direction of Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, Warwick.
