Helen Lupinski Matthews
Helen Lupinski Matthews of Florida, N.Y., died Monday, March 3, 2014, at St. Anthony Community Hospital in Warwick. She was 81.
Helen was born Oct. 27, 1932, in Chester, the daughter of Stanley Lupinski and Rita Kozierski Lupinski.
She was the widow of Robert Matthews.
She was a dairy farmer in the Village of Florida as well as a member of the Florida Floridians senior group.
She loved to cook, bake, knit, crochet and play cards.
She is survived by her three daughters: Elizabeth Crocker and her husband George of Dalton, Pa., Michele Murabito of Florida, N.Y., and Arlene Matthews and John Tremper of Milford, Pa.; two brothers: Stanley Lupinski and Robert Lupinski, both of Warwick; two sisters: Dorothy Richner of Moores Forks and Jennie “Jane” Keller of Chester; three grandsons: Keith and Craig Slesinski and Nicholas Murabito; and her granddaughter Rebecca Crocker; and several aunts, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday, March 7, from noon to 1 p.m. at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church Street, Goshen, with the service at 1 p.m. in the funeral home.
Burial will follow in Warwick Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Helen’s name to St. Anthony Community Hospital or a charity of ones choice.
