Harriet Grace Schneider

Harriet Grace Schneider of Warwick (formerly of River Vale, N.J., and Peoria, Ill.), passed away Monday, Oct. 16, 2017, at her home in Warwick. She was 86 years old.
Born on Oct. 31, 1930. in Peoria, Ill., she was the daughter of Emil and Maude (Reig) Seei.
She was he widow of Raymond D. Schneider Sr. (2014).
Before retiring, Harriet was an assistant in the Reference Library of CBS News in New York City.
She was an active gardener and was a member of St. Stephen's R.C. Church in Warwick.
Harriet is survived by her seven children: Raymond D. Schneider Jr. and wife Geraldine of Warwick, Janice Belbey and husband Mark of Warwick, R.I., Stephen Schneider and wife Jennifer of Warwick, Michael Schneider and wife Ingrid of Cummings, Ga., Susan Schneider of Warwick, Timothy Schneider and wife Marilyn of Hillsdale, N.J., and Dan Schneider and wife Elise of Harrington Park, N.J.; 20 grandchildren: Christine Schneider, Raymond Schneider III, Kelsey Schneider, Meghan Muller, Timothy Belbey, Daniel Belbey, Colleen Tuttle, Patrick Belbey, Tara Byrne, Emily Byrne, Stephen Schneider Jr., Andrew Byrne, Steffani Schneider, Alyssa Schneider, T.J. Schneider, Stephanie White, Shannon Cooke, James Cooke, Daniel Schneider Jr. and Christian Schneider; five great-grandchildren: Evelyn Claire Schneider, Connor James White, Brooklyn McKinley Belbey, Abigail Agnes Tuttle and Roland Jackson Muller. She also is survived by her sister Jan Dean of Santa Ana, California.
She was preceded in death by her brother Emil Seei Jr. of Peoria, Illinois.
Visitation will be on Friday, Oct. 20, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick.
Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21, at St. Stephen's Church, followed by interment in Warwick Cemetery.
