Gloria T. Arcomano

    Gloria T. Arcomano of Greenwood Lake, and formerly of Brooklyn, passed away on Monday, Sept. 16, 2013, at Silver Crest Nursing Home in Queens. She was 86.

    Born Feb. 14, 1927, in Brooklyn, she was the youngest of Nicola and Uliana (nee Scocca) Franco’s seven children.

    She was married to Ralph J. Arcomano, who proceeded her in death in 2006.

    Gloria was a member of Holy Rosary R.C. Church in Greenwood Lake.

    She is survived by her son Raymond Arcomano and his wife Lauren of Saugerties; daughter Mary Ann Coffrini and her husband Peter of Queens; three grandchildren: Nicole Paolicelli and her husband Chris of Queens and Rebecca Arcomano and Kathryn Arcomano, both of Saugerties; and two great grandchildren Leila and Kaitlyn.

    She also is survived by a sister, Florance Graziano of Greenwood Lake, and a brother, Michael Franco of New Canaan, Conn.

    The family will receive friends Friday from 9-10:30 a.m. at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home,17 Oakland Ave., Warwick, followed by a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. at Holy Rosary R.C. Church in Greenwood Lake, followed by interment in St. Stephen’s Cemetery in Warwick.
