Genevieve Tomaszewski

Genevieve Tomaszewski of New Hampton entered into rest on Thursday, Oct. 4, 201, at Orange Regional Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill. She was 90.
The daughter of Bronislaw and Regina Sadlak Gayewski, she was born Nov. 2, 1921, in Pine Island.
Genevieve was the widow of Zigmund Tomaszewski, who predeceased her in 1989.
She was a member of St. Stanislaus Church in Pine Island.
She is survived by three sisters: Josie Wesolowski of Warwick, Viola Hojnacki of Warwick and Virginia Bastek of Westtown; her brother John Gayewski of Burlington, Iowa; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her son Robert Tomaszewski; five sisters: Frances Shaw, Charlotte Tomaszewski, Stella Weslowski, Mary Schreibeis and Jean Lupinski; and her brother Barney Gayewski.
A funeral Mass was scheduled to be celebrated Oct. 8 at St. Stanislaus Church. Burial was to follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
