Frederick E. Hanlon

Frederick E. Hanlon of Warwick passed away Friday, July 19, 2012, at New York Presbyterian Hospital. He was 65 years old. Born April 16, 1947, in Boston, Mass., he was the son of Fred A. and Marie E. (McHale) Hanlon. He was married for 44 years to Robin (Bascher) Hanlon. Mr. Hanlon was a Hazmat driver with All Chemical Transport in Lakewood, N.J. He was a Quartermaster for Queens Village All Girl Drum and Bugle Corps, a member of International Order of Odd Fellows and an active volunteer for the Warwick Valley Humane Society. He is survived by his wife, Robin of Warwick; his daughters: Heather L. Hanlon-Almodoval of Milford, Pa., Jennifer L. Sedita and her husband Robert J. Jr., and Rebecca L. Hanlon of Florida, N.Y.; his grandchildren: Lani, James and Andrew Almodoval and Robert J. Sedita III; a sister, Mary Mitzan, of the state of Florida; several nieces and nephews. He also is survived by his dogs, Sadie and Zoey. Funeral services were held July 23 at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home in Warwick. Private cremation.
