Frank ‘Jay’ Weeden
Frank W. “Jay” Weeden of the Village of Florida, a retired head of maintenance for Goshen School District and the retired owner of Frank’s Lawnmower Service in Warwick, entered into rest on Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012. He was 74.
The son of Frank W. Weeden Sr. and Elsie VanDuzer Weeden, he was born Feb. 25, 1938, in Warwick.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran, and a member of the Black Dirt Squadron model airplane club based in Goshen.
Survivors include his wife Corinne A. Wood Kowalczyk Weeden at home; 3 stepchildren: Paul Kowalczyk and wife LuAnn, Frank Kowalczyk and wife Linda and Donna Calone and husband Richard; several grandchildren and one niece and one nephew. He was predeceased by his sister Irene Linton.
Family and friends are invited to gather at the T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Ave. in Florida, at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 24, prior to the burial in Warwick Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
