Frank Bonczek

Frank Bonczek, a resident of Cuddebackville, is finally at peace after a very long illness. He left this world 62 years after he entered it on Feb. 22, 2013, at Kindred Hospital in Wayne, N.J., with his sister and brother-in-law at his side.

Born in Goshen, he graduated from Goshen High School and lived most of his life in Florida, N.Y. He was the only son of Elizabeth Bonczek and the late Frank Bonczek.

He was a carpenter by trade and loved to fish and hunt with his many friends, who will dearly miss him.

He is survived by his sister Kathleen Askew (Mike) of Louisiana; his mother and sisters, Margaret Schaffer (Ed) and Rosemary Bonczek (Mike Cleary) all of New York; a daughter, Shannon Bourgeois, and granddaughters Raquella, Amber and Ariel of New Hampshire; son Frank Bonczek (Jennifer) and grandchildren Angelleah, Jayden, Jenna and Evan of Pennsylvania.

There will be no visitation or services. His remains will be interred in Louisiana.

His sister would like to thank Jim, Amy, Anthony and Emma Eckerson for all of their help and thoughtfulness during Frank’s illness and after.
