Francis A. Remling

Francis “Frank” A. Remling entered into rest on Friday, Aug. 28, 2015, in Charleston, S.C. Frank was a 15-year resident of Warwick before moving to South Carolina in 2014.

Born Nov. 8, 1931, in Tarrytown, he was the son of Frank and Agnes Remling.

He will be remembered mostly for his tremendous love of his wife Joan, who predeceased him in 2011.

Frank was a devoted father and grandfather, lifelong Catholic and U.S. Navy veteran.

He is survived by his three children: Richard Remling and his wife, Nancy of Syracuse; Elaine Gliddi and her husband, Nils of Hoboken, N.J.; Karen Conace, her husband, Michael, and grandchildren Lia and Juliana of Charleston, S.C.; a sister Regina and brother Robert; many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a brother, John.

Visitation will be Saturday, October 3 from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church St., Goshen.

A grave side service and burial with military honors will be in Orange County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 111 Craigville Road, Goshen,
