Francine deFere Tyler

Francine deFere Tyler of Warwick passed away on May 9, 2017 at St. Anthony Community Hospital. She was 87 years old.
Born on August 9, 1929 in Rochester, she was the daughter of the late Roland and Rebecca (Proseus) deFere.
A homemaker and a nature lover, Francine loved to write poetry and her poem "Over Pine Island" was published in dirt magazine in 2014.
Francine moved to Warwick in 1998 and loved the Village of Warwick. She was a regular patron at many of the small businesses in Warwick and was a member of the Warwick Historical Society.
She is survived by her children: Rhett Tyler and his wife, Beth Liotta-Tyler; Mark Tyler and his wife, Jeanne, Christine Tyler; and Suzanne Gindhart and her husband, John; four grandchildren: Christopher Tyler, Daniel Tyler, John Gindhart and Robin Gindhart.
Francine was predeceased by a brother, Robert deFere, and a sister, Yolande McWilliams.
Funeral services were held on Friday, May 12, at Christ Church, Warwick. Interment followed in Oakwood Cemetery, Bayshore, Long Island, in the deFere family plot.
