Frances Pawelek

Frances Pawelek of Florida, N.Y., entered into rest on Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012, at home. She was 85.
The daughter of Jacob Grzyb and Blanche Kosior Grzyb, she was born March 19, 1927, in the Village of Florida.
She was a member of St. Joseph Church in Florida.
Survivors include her husband Edmund Pawelek at home; her brother Raymond Grzyb and his wife Clara of the Village of Florida; sister Theresa Noha and her husband Harry of Millsboro, De.; sisters-in-law Anastasia Swiatkowski and her husband Edward of Riverhead on Long Island and Ann Pawelek of Warwick; nieces Patricia Nixdorf and her husband Louis of the Village of Florida, Carol Dembeck of the Village of Florida and Denise Cordella and her husband Chris of Long Island; along with several other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She was predeceased by a brother Edward Grzyb.
Visitation was scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 23, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at T.S. Purta F.H., 22 Glenmere Ave., Florida.
A funeral Mass was scheduled to be held 10 a.m. on Monday Sept. 24, at St. Joseph Church, the Rev. Joseph Tokarczyk officiating.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
