Emil John Moser

    Emil John Moser of Glendale, Queens, passed away Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012, at Schervier Pavilion. He was 86 years old.
    Born June 22, 1926, in Brooklyn, he was the son of Emil John Moser, Sr. and Anna Ulinger Moser Karcher.
    He was married to the late Katherine (Zimmerman) Moser.
    Emil served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was a meter reader with the Jamaica Water Company in Queens.
    He is survived by his children: Wayne Moser of Queens, John Moser and his wife Linda of Warwick and Deborah Pappas and her husband Nicholas of Pine Island; his grandchildren: Tara, Jordan, Nicole, Matthew, Christopher and his wife Kelley, Robert and his wife Toniann and Jason and his wife Desiree; and his great-grandchildren: Robert, Adreanna, David and Luca Rose.
    Visitation will be on Saturday, Sept. 8, from 10 a.m. until noon at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick, followed by interment in Cedar Hills Cemetery in Newburgh.
