    Elizabeth Helen McClain of Warwick, New York and Madison, North Carolina, passed away at 4:05 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2017, at her residence in Seymour, Indiana.
    Born July 8, 1944, in the Bronx, New York, the daughter of John and Gizella Neary.
    She married Charles McClain on Oct. 13, 1965, in the Bronx. He survives.
    Mrs. McClain worked as an in-school detention monitor for Warwick Valley High School and Middle School. She enjoyed ceramics, working puzzles and mostly spending time with family and friends.
    Surviving with her husband Charles McClain are daughter, Lori McClain of Seymour, Indiana; son, Douglas (Tina) McClain of Kernersville, North Carolina; brother, Jim (Liz) Keappock of Connecticut; and a grandchild, Willa McClain of Seymour.
    She was preceded in death by her parents; aunts, Betty, Helen and Margaret; and closest friends, Bunny, Joan and Nana.
    In keeping with her wishes cremation is planned. Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon, Indiana, was entrusted with the care of these arrangements.
    Memorials may be made in honor of Mrs. McClain through the funeral home to the Utopia Wildlife Rehabilitators in Hope, Indiana.
