Donald Houston Crigar
Donald Houston Crigar of Cuddebackville passed away Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012, at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie. He was 83 years old.
Born Sept. 29, 1928, in Goshen, he was the son of William and May (Houston) Crigar.
Donald served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a lifetime member of the Warwick American Legion, Post 214.
He was a retired truck driver with McBride Transportation in Goshen.
He was a lifetime member of the NRA, a member of the TriState Rod & Gun Club in Port Jervis and the Middletown Pistol and Rifle Association, serving on both boards.
He is survived by his children: Mildred A. Crigar of Middletown, Deborah Pascal of Warwick, Frank H. Crigar of Cuddebackville, and Donald H. Crigar Jr. of White Sulphur Springs; six grandchildren: Michael, Dominic and Victoria Pascal, Frank Crigar Jr., Amanda Crigar and Jessica Roldan; and two great-grandchildren: Sabastian Crigar and Isaiah Fiero Crigar.
Funeral services were held Aug. 31 at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home in Warwick, followed by interment in Warwick Cemetery.
