Dolores M. Rutkowski

    Dolores M. Rutkowski of Warwick entered into rest on Wednesday June 14, 2017, in Valley View Center in Goshen. She was 87.
    She was a retired nurse's aide and PT assistant at Orange County Home and Infirmary in Goshen.
    Dolores retired so that she could help her husband on their onion farm.
    She was also one of the original members of the Amity Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.
    The daughter of Walter and Elizabeth Lust Schwabe, she was born Aug. 10, 1929, in Queens.
    She was the widow of Edward V. Rutkowski.
    Dolores is survived by her daughter Elizabeth and her husband Raymond Dembeck of Warwick.
    She was predeceased by her son Edward Rutkowski Jr.
    A Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. on Friday, June 16, at St. Stanislaus Church, Pine Island.
    As per her wishes, there will be no visitation.
    Dolores's family would like to thank Tammy Noviski and the staff of the rehabilitation floor of Valley View as well as Donna Mitchell and the staff of Glenmere ground and Alison in activities for the care and compassion they had given mom over the last three years.
    Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
