Dixon Toro

Dixon Toro of Warwick passed away on Tuesday, July 31, 2018, at Schervier Pavilion. He was 81 years old.
Born in Puerto Rico on July 27, 1937, he was the son of Geraldo and Monserate (Sanchez) Toro.
Dixon was a self-employed mechanic at his repair shop, J&T Auto, in Patterson, N.J.
He is survived by a son, Jaime Toro and his wife Rita of Florida; daughter Lourdes Toro of Warwick; grandchildren Jaime A. Toro, Carissa J. Toro, Alexander Avery, Mercedes Joy Toro and Cristina Lourdes Ryerson; and one great-grandchild, Aubrey L. Toro.
Dixon was predeceased by the love of his life, Lucila Toro, in 2012.
A Memorial Service was held Aug. 3 at Family Church in Middletown.
Interment will be in Puerto Rico at the convenience of the family.
